Opening the Mediterranean yachting season, the Palma International Boat Show will be taking place 30 April – 3 May 2025 in Palma’s Moll Vell marina.
As one of the largest on-water boat shows in Europe with over 600 yachts in display from 270 plus exhibitors, the show is well worth the short flight from the UK to the stunning island of Mallorca.
Contest Yachts will be presenting a stunning selection of its luxury bluewater cruisers, including the European Yacht of the Year winning Contest 63CS and the Contest 55CS.
Contest 63CS
A leader in luxury bluewater yachting, Contest Yachts continues to set the standard for excellence, and the 63CS is a prime example of the shipyard’s commitment to surpassing expectations in onboard luxury, comfort, and safety.
Expertly designed for high-performance cruising with minimal crew, the 19-metre Contest 63CS features precision and craftsmanship typically reserved for superyachts.
The cockpit layout highlights Contest’s signature dual helm stations aft, with a flat, open walkway leading to the spacious forward leisure cockpit. This clever configuration is enhanced by fold-out access to the beach deck and tender garage.
Below deck, the emphasis is on natural light and contemporary design. Panoramic saloon windows flood the space with sunshine, while skylights above wardrobes, double portholes, and an optional transom window in the master suite create a bright, airy feel throughout.
Both the three and four cabin versions of the 63CS feature an aft owner’s suite, complemented by two identical ensuite VIP cabins forward – a layout more commonly found on much larger yachts.
Contest 55CS
Also on display is the Contest 55CS.
Timeless in design and effortlessly stylish, the 17-metre 55CS offers the same onboard luxury, comfort and safety whether crossing oceans, anchored in a quiet cove, or moored in a bustling marina with friends and family.
A true showcase of Contest’s ability to blend aesthetics with functionality, the 55CS features an advanced hull design that delivers impressive performance, stability, and interior volume. The two-section cockpit includes a deep forward leisure area and a twin helm station aft, boosting both comfort and safety underway.
Drawing inspiration from larger yachts in the range, the interior layout includes a spacious aft master suite with a generous bathroom featuring a separate shower and toilet. Forward, a VIP suite with an island berth provides additional comfort, and a third cabin can be configured with bunks, or as a practical office or workspace.
Offering the perfect balance of performance, handling, and onboard luxury, both the Contest 63CS and 55CS will be available to view throughout the show.
