Preparations for the boot Düsseldorf boat show (18-26 January 2025) are well underway, and Contest Yachts will be presenting an incredible line-up of luxury bluewater cruisers, including European Yacht of the Year nominee the Contest 63CS and the award-winning Contest 55CS.
A leader in the business of luxury bluewater yachting for over six decades, Contest Yachts’ recently launched 63CS perfectly demonstrates the ability of the shipyard to surpass expectations when it comes to onboard luxury, comfort and security.
With precision and craftmanship generally only seen on a superyacht, the spacious 19-metre Contest 63CS has been expertly designed for smart, short-handed high-performance cruising.
On deck, it’s all about simple but sophisticated short-handed powered systems with fingertip operation, all set within the helm pedestals and with all lines leading aft for total control from the ‘working’ cockpit, adding even more ease and confidence.
While the cockpit arrangement showcases Contest’s superior aft dual helm stations with an open, flat walkway through to the deep and comfortable forward leisure cockpit, this innovative layout is augmented by fold-out access down to the beach deck and tender garage.
Below deck, luxury prevails with natural light the focus of the modern and stylish interior. Panoramic windows allow the sunshine to flood into the saloon, while double portholes, skylights above the wardrobes and an optional transom window promote an airy and open feel in the master suite.
Complementing the owner’s suite aft, in both the three and four cabin versions of the Contest 63CS, there are two identical double ensuite VIP guest cabins forward of the saloon – something usually only seen a much larger yacht.
Contest 55CS
Joining the Contest 63CS at Europe’s largest indoor boat show will be the award-winning Contest 55CS.
With stylish design and timeless appeal, the 17-metre Contest 55CS provides onboard luxury, comfort and security when crossing oceans, but is equally at home anchored in a secluded cove or plugged into the marina while entertaining family and friends.
The Contest 55CS truly showcases Contest’s talent for the combining aesthetics and practicality. The advanced hull form optimises performance, stability and volume, while the two-section cockpit, with a deep-seated forward leisure cockpit connected to a twin helm station aft, further enhances onboard safety and security.
Incorporating detailing from the larger yachts in the range, onboard accommodation comprises an enlarged aft master suite and spacious bathroom, complete with separate shower and toilet. Forward, there is a VIP suite with island berth, and an optional third cabin can be specified with bunks or as office or workroom.
Creating the perfect balance between ease of sailing, performance and onboard luxury, the Contest 63CS and 55CS will be available to view throughout the show.
